Meet our chauffeur at arrival point and proceed on a comfortable journey to Munnar. First, you will pass through the Neriamangalam Bridge, it is in the banks of Periyar and built across the Periyar river, is often referred as ‘The Gateway to the Highranges’ as it is on the way to the higher regions of Idukki district. This is also the border of Ernakulam and Idukki. Later, on the way to Munnar, you can visit two waterfalls, Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls. Driver can stop at both places to see waterfalls and take photos. If you need to take a small break between travelling to have food, driver can stop at Adimali town which is 17 KM away from second waterfalls. Drive to Munnar would show you Tea garden, Tea estates and stunning natural greenery of Munnar. Finally, reaching at resort and check in. You can take rest and night stay at hotel.
Morning after breakfast, start your sightseeing at 10.00 am. Today, you will explore the major sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamala), which is worth to visit during your days at Munnar. You can see the Nilgiri Tahr there, but do not touch them. Approximately 700 Nilgiri Tahr are there in Eravikulam national park, which is the highest wild population in the world. The Nilgiri Tahr, (Nilgiritragus hylocrius Ropiquet and Hassanin, 2005) is an endangered caprid listed in Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 and categorized as ‘endangered’ by the IUCN. Visit Blossom Hydel Park and Rose Garden by afternoon.
Later after lunch, proceed to Mattupetty direction with a visit at Mattupetty Dam. If you are lucky, you can see the wild elephants on the way. Then visit Munnar top station, located around 32 km away from Munnar, is the highest point (1700m) in Munnar and this place falls on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Here you can enjoy the panoramic view of Western Ghats and the valley of Theni district of Tamil Nadu. If time permits, visit Eco point which is another greenery place. It is covered with plenty green sceneries. After sunset, ride back to resort for the night stay with some good travel memories.
After breakfast, at 8.00 am, you will be received by our driver and proceed on a 4-hour drive to Kumarakom. You need to check into houseboat at 12.00 pm with welcome drink and start cruise through the beautiful Vembanad backwater. While cruise in houseboat, you can experience the villages and village life of Kerala, Serene backwaters, Beautiful narrow canals, Get a glimpse of greenish Paddy fields, Churches, Temples, Coir factories and finally Kumarakom Bird sanctuary. Houseboat will stop at afternoon for the Kerala lunch. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be available. Enjoy the delicious Kerala meal and start cruise after that. Houseboat will stop at evening 5.30 pm and will anchor at dock. You can do fishing nearby if need. After dinner and night stay at houseboat.
After breakfast and check out from the houseboat and proceed on a 1-hour drive to Marari and check in into hotel as per the check in time. Marari beach, a sequestered little knows beach destination in Alleppey, Kerala. It is around 16 km away from Alleppey town. This is a true paradise to end your long holidays. Here you can experience and see the stunning sunrise and sunset. Night stay at hotel at Marari.
After breakfast and start do some sightseeing in Alleppey. Alleppey, the Green paradise of God’s Own country. Alleppey is already became the most important tourist destination in Kerala which attracts all type of tourists. It is famous for beautiful backwaters, Canals, Beaches, Paddy fields, Lagoons etc. You can visit Revi Karunakaran Memorial Museum, Alleppey beach with light house, Punnamada Lake, Coir making, St. Andrew’s Basilica Arthunkal and if you wish, you can opt for shikara cruise or canoe ride which will take you through small canals to see the villages. Come back to hotel at Marari for the night stay.
Morning after breakfast and check out and proceed to Kochi for the day outing. You can visit Fort Kochi beach, Chinese fishing nets, Kerala’s own fishing ways, Spice market (All Kerala spices available and the smell here will take you to the world of spices), Jews street/Jews town (Famous for various Antique shops and Carved wooden shapes of Kerala’s different beauty, Remnants of traditional houses, all type of Jewellery, wooden, bronze and brass sculptures etc. available), Jewish synagogue, Paradise synagogue, Mattancherry, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, St. Francis CSI Church, Dutch Cemetery. And finally, Kochi is famous for its city and business life too with lot of shopping malls, business centers, office buildings, flats, metro, shops, restaurants etc. You can do walking and shopping at M G road, Marine drive Broadway, Lulu shopping mall etc. Our driver will drop you back to departure point for the journey back to home with some good memories to remember forever.
